Our Approach
Therapists using this approach recognize the impact of physical health, lifestyle, and even spirituality on our mental functioning. They use a broader range of techniques than “talk” therapy and tailor it to each person’s needs.
This combines techniques from other therapies. For example, CBT, psychodynamic, humanistic, and somatic experiences might be used in holistic therapy. Research in the Journal of Psychological Services shows integrative therapy techniques can improve outcomes and advance healing practices (Stevenson, et al., 2023).
